About Monocle
Monocle is a full-stack data analytics platform, delivering a single-pane-of-glass dashboards and reporting experience, backed by data integration and automation to key business and operational data sources. The solution offers insights for performance, operations, and management and is built for GDIT program teams and their customers.
Monocle is offered as a service within the TSS Managed Service Platform (MSP) / Managed Shared Service (MSS) AWS environment. The solution is designed as a multi-tenant, shared service to provide economies of scale and expedited implementations.
Purpose
Design, develop, and deploy an interactive, online suite of portals to serve as a “single-pane-of-glass” for self-service offerings, performance, and insights for TSS customers, end users, and management teams with ACDaaS as the pilot program.
Capabilities
The Monocle Solution is scalable with high available delivery of digital experience and engine for insights, analytics, visualizations, and reporting. Some of the capabilities include interactive dashboards including time-series trending that can be integrated with ServiceNow and NICE inContact. Monocle provides performance metrics for ITSM and ITOM processes and provides automated data workloads including ingestion, transformation, and reporting. The data collected for Monocle is isolated and managed by program/ customer with security best practices and data-at-rest and in-transit encryption.
Portal Definitions
The features and views are split accross four portals which are Operational, Performance, Management, and Analytics. The operational portal contains dashboards, statuses, and trends for processes and practices across the service delivery lifecycle. The performance portal has scorecards and baselined, standardized reports for service levels and key performance indicators. The management portal has dashboards and tools for the program and staff management. Lastly, the analytics portal showcases deep dives and tools for discovery, enhanced analysis, and correlation accross data sources.

Site Map
The site hierarchy is composed of the four portals described above which breakdown into features that contain views. Each portal contains features which are groups with defined capabilities containing supporting dashboards and reports. Every feature has views which are dashboards and reports, providing various perspectives and filter options into the data.
